Shania Twain will headline State Fayre at Hylands Park on Saturday 19 June 2027.
The festival announced her on its own website, where she is billed as headliner for the Saturday. She is the only act on the festival’s site so far for its second year.
State Fayre runs from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 June 2027. It is a camping festival of rock, country, folk and Americana, run by Festival Republic and Live Nation.
When tickets go on sale
The festival’s ticket page sets out two dates:
- PayPal presale: 9am on Wednesday 4 November. PayPal customers get a 48-hour window to buy weekend and Saturday tickets.
- General sale: 9am on Friday 6 November.
The festival names Ticketmaster as its only official ticket seller. It says listings on any other site cannot be guaranteed to get you in.
The festival’s own pages do not publish prices. They appear on Ticketmaster when the sale opens.
Which tickets are on offer
The presale covers:
- weekend camping
- weekend non-camping
- weekend camping with early entry
- a Saturday day ticket
Car parking and campervan passes are sold as extras. Day tickets for Friday and Sunday are listed as “coming soon”.
A few rules from the festival’s ticket information are worth knowing before you buy:

The festival is open to all ages. Under 3s go free. Children aged 3 to 12 need a child ticket and 13 to 15 year olds a teen ticket. Anyone under 16 must be with a ticket-holding adult aged 18 or over, according to the festival essentials page.
The second year at Hylands
State Fayre made its debut at Hylands Park on 26 to 28 June 2026. Kings of Leon, Alanis Morissette and The Lumineers headlined, according to Chelmsford City Council.
The council said the first festival drew “tens of thousands” of people over the three days. Its leader, Councillor Stephen Robinson, called it “the perfect debut for this new festival for Chelmsford”.
The organisers confirmed the 2027 return in July. Early bird tickets went on sale then, before any act had been named.
What it means for you
If you want to go, have a Ticketmaster account ready before 9am on 4 November (with PayPal) or 6 November. If you only want Shania Twain, the Saturday day ticket is in the presale.
If you are travelling by train, Chelmsford is the nearest station to the park. The festival’s travel page warns that Oyster cards and London Travelcards are not valid to Chelmsford, so buy a rail ticket before you board. Shuttle bus, car and walking details for 2027 are “coming soon”.
If you live near Hylands Park, expect road restrictions sending traffic to the festival car parks over the weekend of 18 to 20 June.
