Olly Murs headlines Lazydays at Southend's Priory Park on Sunday 25 July 2027. Pre-sale opens at 10am on Thursday 29 October, general sale on 30 October.
Olly Murs will headline the Sunday of Lazydays Festival at Priory Park in Southend on 25 July 2027, his first show in the city since he played the Cliffs Pavilion in 2011. Tickets for his day go on general sale at 10am on Friday 30 October, with a pre-sale a day earlier, at 10am on Thursday 29 October, for fans who register at lazydaysfestival.com.
He completes the festival’s three headliners: Dizzee Rascal on Friday 23 July and Kaiser Chiefs on Saturday 24 July. Madness open the week with their own, separately ticketed concert in the park on Thursday 22 July, which we covered when it was announced.
The organisers say Lazydays has sold more than 10,000 tickets in less than three months, nine months before the gates open.

“Three mates from Southend”
Lazydays was started in 2024 by Andy Williamson, Elliott Waters and Mike Forster-Bromfield, three friends from Southend. Next summer is its fourth year. Mr Forster-Bromfield, a co-founder, said:
“There’s something really special about bringing Olly back to Essex. He’s someone who grew up just down the road, went on to become one of the country’s biggest entertainers, and now he’s coming back to headline a festival created by three mates from Southend. That’s a pretty incredible feeling.
“We started with a big idea and a lot of determination. To have sold over 10,000 tickets in less than three months, and to be announcing artists this big, is something we’re immensely proud of.
“What’s most exciting is that we’re still only getting started, we’ve still got a fair few surprises up our sleeves.”
More of the line-up will be announced over the coming weeks, the organisers say.

Who is Olly Murs?
The singer was born in Witham. The festival puts his record at five UK number one albums, four UK number one singles, six BRIT Award nominations and more than five million albums sold worldwide. His hits include Dance With Me Tonight, Troublemaker, Heart Skips a Beat, Dear Darlin’ and Wrapped Up.
The organisers call his Sunday set “a fitting finale to the festival”, bringing “one of Essex’s biggest musical exports back to his home county”.
What else is at Lazydays
The 2026 festival had Tinie Tempah, Feeder, Sister Sledge, The Feeling and Natalie Imbruglia on the bill. Beyond the music, the organisers say there are five stages and venues across the site, with comedy, family shows, silent discos, street theatre and fringe performances, independent street food traders, drinks producers and pyrotechnics. The festival bills itself as “no ordinary weekend”.

The festival says it puts “a strong emphasis on supporting local businesses and emerging talent”.
